The following Booklet, called a Guide to Visiting Cork Prison was launched in City Hall in Cork by Fergus Finlay, Chairperson of Barnardos. The launch took place in the Council Chamber and was attended by the families of prisoners, the Governor of Cork Prison, Mr James Collins, some members of the Cork Prison Visiting Committee and other interested parties who come into contact with prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families.
